We employed AKT Roofing to replace an old Velux window on the top floor of our building. Although it took a while for them to find time for us because they are much in demand, when they came, the job was carried out quickly and efficiently. They finished all the work off very neatly, and cleared everything away. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Thank you AKT for removing and capping the chimney, replacing the roof and insulation, doing it all swiftly and safely. Adam ensured that great care was taken erecting and dismantling the scaffolding, to minimise any H&S risks. Carmen was always at the end of the phone or contactable via email whilst the work was in progress, providing me with updates. The new roof looks really good and I’m confident will keep us dry and warm next winter.

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish, quick and reasonable quote with lots of detail, plenty of communication about the job start and then the job itself was simply magical, I don’t know how they’ve done it but its almost impossible to tell that there were 2 chimneys there before. Our neighbour had their chimneys taken down by another company last year and its really unsightly where the chimneys were and we were expecting the same but our roof is now pristine. They are true craftsmen and obviously care about the work they do. Once the bill arrived it was exactly as quoted with no hidden extras and we wouldn’t hesitate to use AKT roofing again or recommend them to anyone who’ll listen.

Explained well what they were doing. Hardworking. Replaced our large flat roof within 2 days. Cleared all rubbish away leaving the place clean and tidy.Would recommend.!

The service and workmanship we have received has been excellent and his prices have always been very competitive. I would, without hesitation, recommend this company, no job is too small.

AKT Roofing fitted felt trays, replaced a piece of damaged felt and replaced a broken tile. I tried 2 other roofers beforehand, but AKT Roofing were the only ones who reliably replied to messages and move things forward. They put in a temporary fix to keep out the rain when they came over to assess the job, then were quick to get it all completed and left everything tidy. Great service and great people!

AKT Roofing did a comprehensive survey on the roof of the property identifying the need to replace the original roof. They worked quickly to identify a slot for the work to go ahead and make the situation as stress free as possible. They worked hard to complete the project and the end result looks great! So pleased with the new roof. Plus the confidence of working with a reputable roofing company! Thank you to everyone at AKT roofing for their hard work.

They did a very good job stripping, insulating and replacing 3 flat roofs at our house 3 years ago – 2 dormers and a porch. Yesterday I had a tile come away as the nibs failed. I texted Adam with a photo and asked if he could help as I did not have a disc cutter for trimming the spare tile I had and my ladders were not suitable to get near enough to replace the tile. He came today while I was away, did the repair and texted me at work to say all done. He did not want payment as he said “it didn’t take too long” yet he came from Bournemouth. What a service – cannot recommend Adam highly enough – honest, courteous, tidy and does what he say he’ll do – A rare thing with some tradesmen these days.
